BLACK IN REHAB RETREAT
Over a dynamic 3-day weekend every year, we activate our vision through a series of events that elevate, celebrate, motivate, and educate the Black rehab community, while also building stronger social bonds and unity. Together, we will inspire change and cultivate a brighter future for our field.

JUNE 20-23 2025

DAY 1 - FRIDAY JUNE 20
Welcome and Check in- Meet & Greet 6pm -7pm
A casual gathering to connect with facilitators, and fellow attendees, fostering networking and building community ties. Get ready to network and mingle .
Location: Hotel Lobby , Lite bites and welcome BAG with merch included
Out & About: A Night in the Town
A variety of engaging activities designed to bring joy and foster connections. This could include a night out in town activities such as art, music, or outdoor adventures, emphasizing fun and camaraderie. ( THIS IS NOT INCLUDED WITH TICKET PRICE AS IT IS NOT MANDATORY) tranportation included!

DAY 2 - SATURDAY JUNE 21
Confident Clinician Workshop
9-10:30am
A workshop for rehab professionals and students focusing on building confidence, enhancing skills, and sharing best practices in an inclusive environment with a panelist to enchance discussions.
Please note: Workshop will take place at brunch location this year.
Empowerment Brunch 11-1pm
A welcoming space for sharing stories and building connections. Focus on inspiring speakers, delicious food, and fostering a sense of community.
Tranportation, food, drinks and gifts included.

DAY 3- SUNDAY JUNE 22
Recharge, Refocus, Reconnect
11:30-2:30pm
A dedicated day focused on mental well-being, with a yoga workshop, mindfulness sessions, and discussions aimed at destigmatizing mental health issues and promoting self-care. Refreshments will be served , transportation included with gifts.
Location: Itinerary will be provided before retreat
Black Excellence Dinner 6-9pm
An elegant evening celebrating achievements within the Black community. Featuring guest speakers, awards, and networking opportunities to honor excellence and inspire future success. Food , drinks and transportation included.

DAY 4 - MONDAY JUNE 23
Farewell Breakfast 10-11am
As our retreat comes to a close, we invite you to join us for a reflective Farewell Breakfast. This gathering offers clinicians a chance to connect one last time, share insights from the retreat, and celebrate the professional growth and renewal that took place. With a warm meal and meaningful conversation, the Farewell Breakfast is a time to reflect on new ideas, strengthen professional bonds, and leave feeling inspired as you return to your practice. Let’s honor the journey we’ve shared and the collective wisdom we’ll carry forward.

Online and calls made to the reservation department will only have the option to create reservations on the contracted dates (06/20/2025 - 06/23/2025). Any nights made outside the contracted dates must be booked through the hotel directly.
A credit card is needed as a guarantee to hold the room.
All rooms are non-smoking with complimentary parking and Wi-Fi.
Check-In is at 3:00pm & check out is 11:00am.
Incidentals are $100.00 per guestroom / Authorized at check-in with guestroom rate & tax.
Reservations must be cancelled 24 hours prior to the intended date of arrival to avoid cancellation charges (one night's room plus tax)
The debit/credit card must be presented with a valid ID at check-in. No pre-paid or loaded cards will be accepted.
The last day to book, also known as the 'cut-off date' is Thursday, May 15, 2025. Any rooms that have not been reserved will go back to the hotel inventory and any additional reservations will need to be made through the hotel directly. This may be at a higher price.
